사업 개요 : 우수 외국인 대학원생/박사후연구원급 인재의 국내 정착을 촉진하기 위한 법무부 주관 사업

1. 선발 혜택 :

  1) K-STAR 거주(F-2-7S) 비자로 최장 5년까지 체류 가능

  2) 일정 요건 충족 시 K-STAR 영주(F-5-S1) 비자 및 우수인재 특별귀화 신청 가능

  1) 학위

    - 2026.2월, 2025.8월 석사/박사학위 수여자

    - 2026.8월 석사/박사학위 수여 예정자

    - 본교 박사학위 수여 후 26.8.31.자 기준 본교 박사후연구원으로 1년 이상 재직중인 자

  2) 전공: 과학기술분야

Hello, This is the Office of the Department of Applied AI

We are pleased to announce that our university has been selected for the K-STAR Visa Track Program by the Ministry of Justice to support outstanding international graduate students and postdoctoral researchers by providing visa benefits that facilitate their long-term settlement in Korea.

Please find the program details below. Students who are interested are encouraged to apply and contact relevent department (OISS) if you have any questions.

K-STAR Visa Track Program

Program Overview

The K-STAR Visa Track Program is an initiative organized by the Ministry of Justice to promote the long-term settlement of outstanding international graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in Korea.

1. Benefits

1. Eligible participants may obtain a K-STAR Residence Visa (F-2-7S), allowing them to stay in Korea for up to five years.
2. Those who meet the required qualifications may apply for:
   • a K-STAR Permanent Resident Visa (F-5-S1), and
   • Special Naturalization for Outstanding Talent.

2. Eligibility

(Please refer to the attached file, "2026-1 K-STAR Visa Track Guidelines for Students.pdf," for detailed eligibility requirements.)

1) Degree Requirements

• Students who received a Master's or Doctoral degree in February 2026 or August 2025.
• Students expected to receive a Master's or Doctoral degree in August 2026.
• Individuals who earned a doctoral degree from our university and have been employed as a postdoctoral researcher at our university for at least one year as of August 31, 2026.

2) Field of Study

• Science and Technology disciplines.
